Events

This year we are hosting most of our events and activities on the online ticketing and streaming platform Native.

This platform will be the home of all of our amazing events and content running from Saturday 12th to Friday 18th September.

Head to https://uofgfreshers.native.fm/ to see the events!

You’ll see that there is a mix of in-person events that will take place in a safe, physically-distanced environment on campus as well as a curated collection of online activities that you can watch and interact with via the purpose-built event and streaming platform. This is also where you’ll be able to sign-up for tickets. This platform, here on our website and our social medias (all @uofgfreshers) will be the best places to get any updates or extra information so keep an eye out for those!

This Freshers’ Week is going to be different to previous years, and we recognise it might not be exactly what you had pictured. However, a team of students and staff from across the University’s student organisations have been working all summer to plan the best possible experience and we are confident that you’ll have a great start to your time at UofG. As we understand that it’s not quite the usual Freshers’ Week, we will not be charging for our events this year.

We hope you have a fantastic week of making new friends, getting to know the city of Glasgow, and learning more about life at the University!

Also be sure to check out the Facebook pages of the 4 student bodies for any additional events that get added:
